We’ll meet at a coffee shop or, better yet, at your coffee table to look through sample albums as we discuss all of your session’s details. We’ll cover the best location options and wardrobe color schemes to match, as well as any sentimental items you’d like incorporated. As a full-service photographer, I’m always working with the end goal in mind—so don’t be surprised when we spend part of our pre-session appointment measuring out ideal frame sizes for your soon-to-be gallery wall! As we wrap up, we’ll sign the contract, collect the session fee, and schedule your session date!

The week of your session, I’ll send you a check-in email laying out all of the session details for easy reference. For newborn sessions, you’ll also receive a six-page prep guide with helpful information, like “Please do not manic clean your house—I only need thiiiiiis much space to work my magic, and as a mom of two boys, I’m an expert at ignoring any messes.” If you’ve selected dresses from my client closet, I’ll deliver them to you (freshly steamed and ready to go!) before session morning, so you have plenty of time to try them on and twirl around your bedroom while you make your final decision.

It’s finally here, and you’re beyond ready! For maternity and family portraits, we’ll meet on-location an hour before sunset to guarantee the best lighting. I’ll bring bubbles to make your kids smile if you bring their favorite snacks… for bribery purposes, of course. Don’t worry about striking the perfect pose; I’m here to guide you with playful prompts and cues for natural movement. For newborn sessions, I’ll bring the studio to you! While I set up in your living room, you can grab a snack or put the finishing touches on your hair and makeup. And as we wrap up, we’ll set a date for your gallery reveal appointment!

You’ll receive your fully-edited gallery of matching digital prints just one week after the reveal and design appointment. And within six weeks, I‘ll personally deliver your albums, folio boxes, and prints to your home. And you want to know what else?
